Design International Group - Company - About DIG

Design International Group (DIG) is a Los Angeles based independent member of the Lucky Group, a 35 year old Chinese corporate giant run by the Yeh family of Taiwan. DIG designs, manufactures, and distributes stationery, school accessories, novelty writing instruments, and craft items targeting the young and the young at heart.

DIG was launched in 2003 to better service our US retail clients, and to rapidly incorporate changing trends and demographics into our merchandise solutions. DIG started with a small licensed line of novelty writing instruments and in a few short years, the DIG line grew exponentially to also include seasonal stationery & writing instruments, Back-To-School products and accessories, arts & crafts items, toys, and hot licensed merchandise.

“Stylish, fun, and innovative is the name of the game around here”, says Julie Hwang, Creative Director of DIG. “We create products that strike an emotional chord on the consumer so strong that he/she just must have it because it’s hip, fashionable, off-the-moment, cute, funky, or simply funny.”

“At the same time, it’s very important that our products are universally affordable”, says William Yeh, President of DIG. To that end, DIG engages the considerable sourcing and manufacturing capabilities of its parent company, the Lucky Group, to provide great quality at truly affordable prices.

DIG continuously seeks distribution venues that are compatible with its “great design for all” principle, making sure that its products are not only affordable, but also readily available whether the consumer lives in a small rural town or a large metropolis.
